~Oh Christmas Tree~

The first of many pictures in front of the Christmas Tree...notice Anabelle Devaney sitting up and look who has their clothes off again. (I swear we put clothes on her every day....) The tree looks so good! The kids decorated it and I just love it.
Dad gives Aidan a hand at putting the star on top!
Tinker wanted to try to put the star on but it was a little too hard!

What a great weekend!

We set off for my parent house on Thursday. Got to Cape...had Thanksgiving dinner and then just hung out for the night. The kids were so excited to get to play with Ella and Sam. My dad was there the whole weekend which was so great! Friday my mom watched the kids and I went shopping with Beth. We met at Target at 3:45 a.m. We had a blast shopping and hanging out! Then, I went back to my mom's house. My mom and I went shopping with the girls and Pap Pa and Aidan spent the day together hanging out. They went to the club, did a little shopping, and spent some quality time together. We got the girls their Christmas dresses and now we are all set for the holidays! Beth came down with the kids again and we all hung out. Aidan and Lily took turns sleeping with Nana...which was a big treat. This trip Lily couldn't get enough of her Nana. We left on Saturday and came home early so we could see Matt. He had put up the Christmas lights by the time we got home and we made a fantastic dinner. The kids were so happy to see their daddy! On Sunday, I made crock pot meatloaf...we decorated the Christmas tree, and Matt put the finishing touches on the outside decorations. It definitely looks like Christmas at our house! Oh, I love the holidays and all the fun that come with them. The kids were really in to putting up the tree. The Christmas tree itself tells the story of our life. Every year we get the kids an ornament that signifies what they are into at that time or something special about them personally. We all had a blast looking at little pink and blue booties, a bus, the tinker bell ornament, Shrek, Toy Story, the cheeseburger...and so many more. I may be feeling a bit sentimental but I have to ask myself...does it get any better than this????

Look who is sitting up!

7 months old and look at me...I am so big!
It is official. My sweet girl is sitting up all by herself. Just in time for Santa! We are so proud of her! (AND...she has started eating her baby food FINALLY....I am so thankful! For 2 nights she has enjoyed some yummy peas with no tears!)

My Tink Tink is 3!

Lily LOVES it when we sing Happy Birthday! I think this is her favorite part! We sang to her at least 20 times over the weekend! She loved her princess cake (the princess lit up)!
Anabelle and Finn play together! Belle can almost sit up on her own....she is so close!
Nana and Pa Pa with the birthday girl and Belle!
Pa Pa couldn't wait to get his hands on the baby!

Our princess is all dressed up for the party!

Lily picked Mexican for her birthday dinner. Jay, Jamie, and Tristan met us for some tacos!

Ms. Amy gave Lily a birthday ribbon and she celebrated at Ms. Amy's with cookie cake and donuts!

The morning of her birthday she shows me that she is 3!

Lily Claire is 3! I can't believe it! Lily was born at 1:06 in the morning and I remember it like yesterday! I was at my grandparent's celebration in Ironton. I had been having contractions on and off but the doctors told me that I could just have them for the rest of my pregnancy so I left town and went to Ironton anyway. (My mom did not want me to travel and she had been asking all day if I was having any contractions.) So, I told her that I probably wouldn't spend the night and instead I would just head back to St. Louis after we went to church. We ate dinner and hung out and then went to church together. Well, during church I started having more contractions but I was trying to hide them from my mom. I drove back to me grandparents house to use the bathroom before we left and there it began! I was bleeding. So, my parents took Aidan and my sister drove my car and we all headed back to St. Louis. Matt met me at home and from there we went to the hospital. Lily Claire made an exciting entrance into the world and continues to bring excitement to our lives every day! We are so lucky to have Tinker. I just can't believe she is 3!

The final touch....

Anabelle's room is finally complete. I bought these puff balls to hang from the ceiling this summer and I finally out them up! They look so cute. They just make the room POP! You can definitely tell that 2 girls live in this room! It is as pink as can be! But OH...is it so cute!

Soccer Season comes to an end!

We had our last soccer game this weekend! Aidan played great! We are so proud of him! We went the whole season and never scored a goal....darn! After the game we headed over to the soccer party! It was a great experience and I am so glad Aidan did it!

Quotes to remember

Laying bed reading books with Aidan and Lily.....
Lily: (Reaches up and puts her finger in my ear) "Mom, I think you have a grasshopper in there!"
Me: Laughing hysterically...."Really????"

Lounging around on a Saturday afternoon.....
Lily: (Patting Matt's head) "Mommy, you took all daddy's hair and now my daddy doesn't have any!"
Me: "What?"
Lily: (Making a sad face) "My daddy doesn't have any hair and you have it all!"

Belle's new hat!

I mean....SERIOUSLY....you should see how cute she looks in person. The picture does no justice! This is the cutest hat I have ever seen!

~Lily's Special Day~

Lily and I went to the Magic House on Sunday for a Princess Tea. I was a little late but it was so much fun. We ate some cookies, made a crown, and met Cinderella. After that, we headed to play inside the Magic House. Lily had so much fun. As we were leaving she said, "mom...this was a very fun day!" It just melted my heart. I was glad we got to spend some time together. Thursday is her birthday so we will have lots more birthday fun ahead of us!

I was so excited to go to the princess tea with Tinker.
Lily looked so cute...a princess dress, purse, and a headbacd...oh my...she is a princess!

Tinker makes her crown!
Lily and Cinderella pose for a picture. Lily was a little shy to see and talk to her.
Some "princesses" play.

Tinker LOVES to paint. She covered this whole paper!

~lovin our sister~

Aidan and Lily have been wanting to love on and hold Belle a lot lately. On this day, Aidan (aka spider man) was holding Anabelle and this was our conversation.
Aidan: Mom...Anabelle loves me!
Me: Yep buddy...she does.
Aidan: Well mom...I think she thinks I am the real spider man! (Big smile across his face!)
Me: Maybe so!
(The week before he was holding her and said: Mom, I think Anabelle thinks I am her daddy!)

Now, what is wrong with this picture. Well, it is impossible for me to keep clothes on Tinker. Notice everyone else is dressed but not my Tinker. She likes to take all her clothes off.

Sitting....Almost.....

Before: This is Anabelle..siting tri-pod like....After: This her falling over.
We can sit for like 5 seconds and then we fall. We are working on it. She is soooo close! I just love it when babies sit in the tri-pod! Oh...to be that flexible and fall on your face and then laugh!

Do I have the happiest baby?

Look ather in her polka dots!
I have been asked by several people lately...Is she always this happy! The answer is yes! We are so lucky to have Anabelle. She smiles and laughs at the drop of a hat and she is so easy going! Maybe it is because she is the 3rd child...maybe it is because Matt and I are more relaxed when it comes to things now. I don't know but every day I amazed at how happy she is. I just have to take a picture!

It's Official!

It's official...Anabelle started saying Da-Da.....Matt just loves it. She says it over and over....I love it too!

Anabelle Devaney~6 months old!

Now that Belle is 6 months old we have been "trying" different foods. I can honestly say that some days she wants food and other days she hates it! She is getting the hang of the spoon and I crack up on the days she wants to eat because she slurps it up! SO far we have had....green beans (not a favorite), squash (so...so), sweet potatoes (yum! Yum!), applesauce (so...so...) and pears (not sure yet...) HATES CEREAL! Even though she doesn't like it she still smiles but closes her mouth and pinches her lips shut. Sometimes I know she has had enough because she starts to cry then dinner is over!
I hope she gets in a groove because I want my sweet pea to grow. At her 6 month check up she was...
Weight: 9th % 13lbs 9 oz.
Height: 8th %
But she is meeting all her milestones and doing great! She smiles and laughs all the time!

Presents from Nana and PaPa!

The kids received these slippers in the mail! I had to tell them what they were!
Aidan's new coat and hat came in the mail on the same day! Thanks Nana!

Tinker wanted to pose in her hat too! She has a super cute coat as well...brown with hot pink polka dots!

Proud day!

Aidan can read and write all of his letters! We were super proud!

Halloween 2010!

Pumpkin Carving!

Like most people...carving pumpkins in a fun tradition at our house. But this year no one wanted to get their hands dirty so Matt did most of the work! Aidan's was a scary face and TInker's was a happy face!
