Lily Claire is 4!

November 18th is Lily's actual birthday! It started with a new headband and a new Hello Kitty dress to wear to school. She brought cupcakes for all of her class to enjoy. At noon, I picked her up and we headed to the mall. We had lunch at Chick-Fil-A. Then, I had a surprise...we were going to Sweet and Sassy. It is a salon for little girls! She got her hair done, nails and toes painted and she even got to wear a little make up! She loved it. Later that night, we went out to dinner. My parents were up because Aidan had a Grandparents Day at school so it was a great day had by all! I can't believe she is 4! It seems like that just is NOT possible!

Look at my pretty princess! What a fun day! I always try and do something special with the kids on their birthday. This was a big hit!

~Just Because~

I walked in the bathroom and this is what I saw....Tinker responded,"Mommy, look what I found. Now I won't get spit or water on my face!" I just had to laugh! I am so grateful for Tinker...she marches to her own drum and I just love it!

~Thanksgiving Feast~

I snuck out of school for an hour or so the other day to go up to Aidan's school for a Thanksgiving Feast! The kindergarten classes had a feast of pumpkin pie, cornbread, and popcorn. Then they put on a little performance! I was thrilled that I got to attend and see my little buddy!

Lily=No Fear!

Lily--doing back flips!

Lily has no fear. She has this incredible high pain tolerance and I guess with that comes no fear! She does things that most kids would be scared to do. Ever since she was a little girl she was a climber. I mean...CLIMBER! When we would go to the park...there would be my little two year old climbing up the ladder all by herself. When I take her to get her flu shots...no tears. She is fearless sometimes and it just amazed me! On this particular day my mom took Lily and Ella to one of those jumping things in the mall. They harness you in and you jump super high. Well, Lily got up there and probably did 15 back flips! She is Lily...what can I say!

~Trick or Treat~

Trick-or-Treat!

I love Halloween! It was one of my favorite's when I was little! My kids adore it and they have been talking about trick-or-treating for weeks! They were so glad that the day was finally here!

This was a scary yard and Tinker didn't like it at first!

Anabelle was a little unsure at first! She just wanted to be held and have her ba ba. But, by the like the 2nd house....she realized what it was all about. It was so cute...she loves the idea of holding her own bag. Then, she would go up to the houses and when they would open the door she would point and grunt. She would just stick her little hand in the bowl and grab some treats. It was adorable! Last year she was too little but this year she definitely went trick or treating. She didn't get to eat any of the candy but she still had fun!

These 2 were were soooo excited! They were really into it! We went around our neighborhood and there baskets were filled to the top!

Matt was off since he had surgery and we had a great time!!!!!

~Halloween Fun~

Lily won both of the games! She was having a great day!

Every girl in Tinker's class was a princess or a fairy! It was darling!
I was so glad I got to go and be there with Lily!

Well, after getting back from Atlanta and the family having the flu I wasn't sure how Halloween would go! Sunday night Aidan woke up and his ear was hurting. We sent him to school on Monday because he had a half day and Matt was volunteering at his party! I got to go to Lily's school party too! Then we headed to the doctor. Aidan had a double ear infection. Lily and Aidan both got flu shots. Lily did not a cry a bit. I mean...she got a sad look on her face but that was it. She is so tough and so brave. She amazes me! Aidan cried but he made it through the visit. He hates shots! But, then it was on to trick-or-treating!

Pumpkin Carving!

Our pumpkin...this year Aidan picked out the eyes and nose. Tinker picked out the smile! She wanted a happy Jack-O-Lantern!

Aidan used the spoon. Tinker used her hands! Carving the pumpkin was a big success!

Anabelle Devaney wanted to get in on the spoon action!

We decided to get 1 big pumpkin this year instead of carving 3 different ones. The kids had fun. Aidan did not want to get his hands dirty, Tinker....well she dove right in, and Belle-we just tried to keep the seeds out of her mouth!
