Saying goodbye is always interesting...sometimes there are tears and sometimes there are BIG hugs! These two are buddies! On this occasion...it was big bear hugs!
Hopefully Anabelle will be great friends with Avery and Olivia...then this could just work out perfectly!

I was so happy to finally get together with the Miller's. My friend Kelly is on bedrest but has made it to 31 weeks...this is so huge! She looks absolutely adorable and I was so glad to see her and catch up! The boys played (that would be Mark and Matt and Caleb and Aidan) and a good time was had by all! We love our get togethers and can't wait till there are 2 more little people to join the madness....

We were so glad to get outside and enjoy the weather last week! I am so craving warm weather! The fresh air, the kids playing, the smell of BBQ....oh, I hope Spring is not that far away!

Aidan got a crayols art kit for his birthday. It has glue, markers, paint, crayons, scissors, and construction paper in it. He used every piece of construction paper in 1 day. He made rockets...valentines, and lots of "masterpieces". It amazes me how creative he is.

Maybe he will be an artist! I now have to get some paper from my school.....

Happy Valentine's Day!

Lily and Aidan got a Cake Makin' Station for Valentine's Day! They were very excited! We went home to Cape for the weekend and they Nana and Pa Pa through them a Valentine's Day party. They had decorations, played games (Pin the tail on the Donkey or Nana's version....Pin the chick in the farmyard) and ate ice cream cake.

It was a fun Valentine's Day.

Anabelle is officially on the move! She is crawling everywhere. She can easily crawl the length of a room or more. We are so proud of her!!!!

Feb. 4th was a big day!

Anabelle Devaney got her 1st tooth on Friday and started crawling on Saturday. She crawls like 3 times....my sweet baby is gettin' bigger!

I went to bed last night thinking about Lily Claire. How she is amazing and how much I love that girl. Aidan has been sick all week. He has literally not gotten dressed in 7 days and has watched TV all day long. She just tools around the house playing this and that. She is so easy to please and just loves to play. She is so special. When I think about describing her...she just has the most unique personality. She has a great sense of humor and just marches to her own drum. I just love it. As we know she never wants to wear clothes. Yesterday when I put her down for a nap...she came out a bit later wearing her pink leopard print dress and her Christmas bow and headband. I couldn't help but laugh. Lily makes me laugh or smile every day. This is just her. She is really into dancing and carrying around purses or bags of "things". These things include all her Strawberry Shortcake accessories or a purse full of cars...just full of something. Daily I find purses or bags or boxes full of stuff. She is so girlie that she wants to wear a dress or bows or necklaces every day! I see many shopping trips when she gets older.
Lily is also fearless. She is the most fearless 3 year old I have ever seen. She is not afraid to climb or jump off anything. She will do anything her big brother does and doesn't bat an eye.
She also knows exactly what to say to "tease" her big brother. She has such a great personality and I couldn't help but lay in bed and think of how lucky we are to have her. She brightens our days and makes each day better just by being herself!

This is how my buddy spent his real 5th birthday! At home...sick! We were at the hospital on Tuesday with a 105.6 fever and his fever has continued all week. He has the flu which went to his chest so this means no birthday celebration at school, no trip to Chuckie Cheese with his friend Caleb and no going out to eat on his birthday for a birthday dinner! We have stayed home all week and are slowly starting to get cabin fever. I think we have watched 100 hours of T.V. Today is Friday and although we don't have a fever yet today...his belly hurts and he still is not a 100%. Hopefully we will feel better soon!

Aidan's Big Birthday Bash!!!!!

Saturday was a day all about our birthday boy! The day started off at Monkey Joe's with our cousins and then to lunch at Applebee's and then to bowling! It was a super day of fun!
