A Visit from Daddy...

 Matt flew a helicopter all last week before vacation. He landed it on the baseball fields behind our house. All the neighborhood kids on the street came to the field to see the helicopter too!  The kids thought it was so neat that their daddy was actually flying the helicopter!!!!  (I thought Daddy looked pretty darn cute!!!)  

SKATING

I took the kids skating.  They have been wanting to go for a while. Here are some things about the skating rink that I think are pretty funny....
1.  They have roller skates still. Aidan did roller blades but Tinker and I opted for 4 wheels.
2.  They still play the same games they played when we were kids.  Limbo and 4 Corners. (Lily was pretty darn good at Limbo.)
3.  We are the Champions was playing as Tinker and I were skating. It was a total flashback. Nothing like a little Queen at noon. )They did play some modern music but a ton of songs from when I was a young.)
4.  I foresee some skates on our Christmas wishlist....
5.  Even when you are 35...when you are skating and fall...you still can't stop laughing!!! I haven't laughed that hard in a while!
Aidan wanted to roller blade on his own.  He did great! Awesome!!! Lily and I held hands and laughed!  She did amazing too! It was a really fun day!

A Great Decision...

 This summer two amazing teachers from my school worked with Aidan and Lily!  The kids loved it!!!  I loved it!!! I can't thank Ms. Maggie and Mrs. Brigitte enough!

{Big Joel's Safari}

 Big Joel's Safari was a BIG HIT!!!! They came to Aidan and Lily's school for Spirit day so we put it on our summer list!  I thought it was better than Grant's Farm (just not as big)!!  You can see the animals so up close!  Deer, camels, bison, goats,snacks,  llamas...they had it all.  The kids loved this exotic parakeet cage. You paid a dollar for a popsicle stick and on it they put peanut butter and bird seed.  Then you got to go in a feed the birds! It was awesome! They would fly close to you and land on the stick for a snack! The kids loved it!!!!!  We had a picnic lunch and then went back to feed the birds one more time! It was a great day!

~Discovery Playground~

This is one of the new parks we went to recently!  It was awesome!!!! It might just be one of the best parks we have ever been too! there was a ton of shade, a ton to do, and a really neat water area!!!! We will definitely be going back!!!!

 Aidan and Lily really wanted Anabelle to go to the Butterfly House. We made an afternoon of it and had a great time!!!!

Pedicures!!!!

 Aidan and Pop went fishing and the girls went to get pedicures!!!!  Anabelle was so excited to get her very first pedicure!!!! It was soooo nice and so relaxing!!!!  Thanks Nana!!!!
