Steinmetz Swimmers!!!!!!!!

 Anabelle can blow bubbles, put her face in the water and float on her back with help! She loves to jump in and play ring around the rosie! I am so glad I signed her up for lessons!

 Aidan can float on his back, do the front and back crawl, and can do the backstroke! He can do a front flip and back flip in the water all by himself! He can swim underwater  and swim in the deep end! He can do front and back glides! Great job buddy...you might just be a swimmer!

 Lily is also quite the swimmer! She can jump in, put her head under, do the front crawl, swim underwater, jump in, do front glides and back glides and float on her back! Last year she didn't really care much about swim lessons but this year she LOVES them! She also only had three people in her class so she learned a lot!

~Snorkel Anyone~

Aidan has been obsessed with snorkeling lately. We aren't sure if he saw something on TV or if it is because he is in swim lessons. So Matt went out and got him and Tinker both a snorkel. Kinda cute!

~Zachary Park~

 We ventured out to another new park with Jessica, Tyler and Trevor! It was hot but fun! This park had a ton of stuff for the kids to do! So far we have been to a few new parks:  Millennium Park, Zachary Park, St. Ferdinand park and Vago Park!

Stingrays and Sharks---Oh my!

 I recently took the kids to the zoo. We have been wanting to see the Stingrays since they added the sharks. Anabelle wanted nothing to do with them...she was a bit afraid! But Lily and Aidan loved it! The best part is that the stingrays had babies and there was a separate little pool with 3 month old baby stingrays! The kids fed them and petted them! It was pretty neat! Going to the zoo is always a great time!

Lily's First day

Matt and I have done parent/child swim lessons with all of our kids. They all love the water and are like little fish so maybe that is why...who knows! This year was Anabelle Devaney's first year in swim lessons! She did great!!!! I loved watching Matt with all the moms on the first day! Look at Anabelle float on her back!

Aidan is playing water limbo!

Swim lessons started a week ago! Matt was able to go to the first one! Anabelle Devaney did great. She LOVES to play ring around the rosie. When we were getting ready to leave the supervisor came up to Matt and asked him if he was Aidan's dad. Matt responded yes and she said that Aidan needed to move up to a higher skilled group! Then as were walking out she came back up and was like..are you Lily's parents? We were like yes...she said Tinker needed to move up too! It was a great day. In two weeks, Lily is swimming under water, floating on her back, trying to do the front crawl and back crawl! It is amazing! Aidan is doing the back stroke!!!! I am not even kidding! He is also working on the front crawl with breathing and the back crawl! I am amazed at how good they can swim!

~Birthday Party and the Magic House~

Look at cute little Belle-she is so tan and sooo cute!

Lily had a birthday party at the Magic house with her friends from school! 

 So, I took the other two exploring the magic house! It was so fun and Anabelle is finally able to enjoy it and  have fun! It was busy but we were there early and stayed for 3 hours!!! Fishing and painting were definitely the favorites!  Anabelle just squealed when she caught a fish.

 Every time we go the the Magic House-Lily and Aidan have to paint! Anabelle even painted!!!!

 The kids also enjoyed the sand castle exhibition! It was hot but they still wanted to get out there and play! This summer it is so much easier to take the 3 kids out and about! What a difference a year makes! We are definitively making the most of our summer!
