Aidan is going to Safety Town for two weeks. I wasn't really sure what it was when I signed him up but had heard good things about the program and new it was about teaching kids how to be safe so I went ahead and signed him up! It is pretty neat....they set up a miniature town-with streets and stop lights. The kids learn all sorts of tips about pedestrian safety and how a town works . They ride little jeeps and tricycles around the town. The class is taught by a police officer and then there are high school
counselors to help out as well. It is pretty cute! Yesterday, they took a field trip on a bus (bus safety) and then went and played at the park! All in all, I think he is enjoying himself! It's so nice that is worked out so well!
