Anabelle's Baptism-5.23.10

Anabelle was Baptized this past Sunday and it was a great day! Not only did she look adorable but she did so good! SHE DIDN'T CRY! Not even when she got the holy water poured on her...the deacon said she won the prize for the best behaved...there were 2 other Baptisms with ours. It was a special day and just made me realize how lucky we are to have 3 kids. God really blessed us! After the Baptism we had family and a few friends over to celebrate. So many people said she looked like me! We ate and the kids played outside. It was like 92 degrees....the hottest day yet. Belle had a great day! She is loved by so many people! I know I love her so much!

~6 Weeks Old~

Anabelle Devaney is 6 weeks old today! I can't believe it! I can't wait to see how much she has grown at her 2 month check up.

Anabelle at 6 weeks...

• She is really starting to notice her hands. She grabs at my shirt and my arm at times when I am feeding her. She hits herself accidentally.
• She is getting into a routine at night. She is sleeping better and going further between feedings.
• For the past 2 days has cried in the evening for no reason.....right around 7...not sure why. It is so darn cute though!
• Belle is my only child not to take a Boppy!!!!!!!! I am kinda glad. I don't have to go through the trauma of taking it away!

On another note I took all 3 kids to the dentist today. I felt like I deserved a medal of honor! I totally felt like people were staring at me and thinking..."Lady...have you ever heard of birth control!" We made it...yes..there was some running, some sweating, and some relief when it was over but we did it. Tinker has an over bite...probably needs braces. Aidan will more than likely need braces as well....thanks to the boppy! Tinker was so brave and climbed up in the chair and let them clean away! I was so impressed! Aidan had some trouble...he did not want them to clean his teeth and he hated the flavored toothpaste. Afterward we went to the park for a little bit! Not to shabby for a new mom of 3!

Summer Project #1

Summer project number one completed! The kids did an experiment. They put food coloring in water and made colored ice cubes. We then put the ice cubes in the bath tub and discovered that yellow and blue make green and that ice cubes melt! Tinker kept going..."Mama...where ice cubes go?"

Aidan's Last Day of Preschool!

It was Aidan's last day of school today and last day of preschool. I can't believe how big my boy is getting! He took a bouquet of flowers to his teachers and Lily took some flowers to Mrs. Amy! He had a splash day so he got to wear his Buzz swim trunks! I think he had a great day and when he got in the car he yelled, "MOM...I am not in preschool anymore...now I AM IN PRE-K! He was excited!

Saying Goodbye is hard to do...

Well, the day started off cute! For the past 2 days Aidan has decied that he needs to wear a tie to school. He just has it in his mind so let him. He has such a personality! He is wearing his stripes (that is what he calls his little muscle shirts that don't have sleeves) with a tie!

Then I met Alana to hang out for the day before she moves away to Austin! She was the first person I became friends with in my first year of teaching! I am so happy she is moving by her family but so sad for me because I know it will be a long, long time before I see her again! It is so sad when a good friend moves away.

We had a great weekend and I think I am just now recovered. We pretty much went nonstop and I was exhausted. I don't think I realized it until I crashed on Sunday! We went to Jay and Jamie's on Friday and the Miller's on Saturday. OMG...we had the best food at Kelly and Mark's. I forgot what a good home cooked meal tasted like.It was delicious. I mean...Chicken Spanini...salad...potatos...yum...yum. We love the Miller's. Aidan adores Caleb and so does Lily for that matter. Matt and I have been a little sad because 2 couples that we are friends with have moved away. (The Beck's and The Kirkpatrick's) We both left the Miller's going..."Man, I just love them...." What a great feeling!

On another note...Aidan is in swim lessons and Matt took Lily in the water this weekend. Aidan is so cute and loves his teacher Joe. he gets in the water all by himself and seems to be doing really well. Lily has been wanting to go swimming since Aidan started lessons. She was so excited to be in her new swimsuit. (She is such a girl!) As soon as we got there Lily ran in the water and was putting her face and head in with no problem. Her and daddy had fun! We really enjoy swim lessons. We are signing up for another session.

I went to Target today and stocked up on some items for summer fun and rainy day activities. Kelly gave me a book of neat ideas....things to do this summer include: magic mud, homemade playdough, car painting, collages, and lots more....wow I feel like a teacher with all my little projects that I have planned...
