I love seeing this.....

Aidan finished reading a pretty hard chapter book the other day. It had 218 pages!!!! He checked it out from the library 3 weeks in a row. He was so proud!!!! He would read it in the morning, in the car and often at night! I was so proud that he finished it.  I love seeing my boy read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's Party!!!!

Well Anabelle finally had her birthday party at the Museum of Transportation. She was excited. Even though it was a rainy day we ended up getting to have a train ride afterall.  Anabelle said, "Mama-this is fun!" She loved riding the train! It was a great day!

~Anabelle Devaney Turns 3~

 It is hard to believe that my baby is 3! My how time flies! In some ways I can totally believe it and in others...well..she is still my baby!!!!  Anabelle has been very excited about her birthday. We have had many conversations about her party and how she is 3! She was really into opening her presents.  She would day "more presents please". Lily is sooo funny because there are times when she just mothers her.  She likes to help her and hold her. Our little bit was a bit shy this year too. She actually burst into tears after we finished singing Happy Birthday. It was like she was sooo excited but then sooo embarrassed. Right now Anabelle loves Minnie Mouse!!!!  It was our last week at Jeff and Cindy's so it was a bit hectic but all in all I think she had a good day!

~Field Trip~

 This week I was able to go on a field trip with Aidan. We went to the Delta Dental Theater and then to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory downtown! Aidan was thrilled that I could take the day of work and come spend the day with him. We then went out to eat that night and I took him to PSR. Later that night we were in bed and Aidan said, "Mom-we spent the whole day together-just me and you!  I had a good day!" I was sooo glad that I went (even though this has been a busy week with the move).

 Oh yes-that is Peyton-Aidan's "girlfriend". (Those are Aidan's words and not mine.)  She sat with us on the bus!

OH MY....

The kids looked absolutely adorable on Easter. They all matched and we wore purple this year. CAN YOU SAY C-U-T-E!!!!

Easter 2013

We went home on Easter weekend and went to a really cool Easter egg hunt! It was huge and not crowded. The kids had an egg hunt which was broken up into age groups. That made it great because Anabelle Devaney really loved finding eggs this year. Then we headed inside to decorate cookies and have snacks! The kids had a blast and we all marked it on our calendars for next year!!!!

We has some fun dyeing Easter Eggs one rainy afternoon! The kids get the biggest kick out of dyeing eggs!

Lily was nominated for the "Kiwanis Terrific Kid" for the month of February! We got an email telling us that it was a surprise and that we should come to the all school assembly so after her name was called she would look out in to the crowd and see us. She was DARLING! We were some proud parents on that day! Lily was sooo excited when she finally noticed us in the crowd! What a great day!
