We Welcome Anabelle Devaney Steinmetz!

Anabelle Devaney Steinmetz
Born: April 15, 2010

6 lbs. 7oz.
18 1/2 inches.
I went to the doctor as I do every week. He walked in and we were talking about how I was very uncomfortable and walking around dilated and having contractions on a regular basis. Then he checked me and said..."When do you want to have this baby?" I said, "Today!" THAT WAS IT! I called Matt and told him that today was the day! He met me at the house and we went to the hospital. We got there around noon. They put me on the potocin and it didn't take long at all to get things moving. I called my mom to tell her I was 5 cm dilated and by the end of the phone call...I said Mom I have to go...I just felt a ton of pressure. Sure enough...I was 10 cm and ready to go. It took literally like 10 minutes! The doctor arrived and I pushed 4 times...out she came. It was easy and beautiful and I loved every minute! Anabelle Devaney came at 7:27pm and is a healthy girl! THAT IS ALL WE WANTED!

At hospital...right before I had her.
What a miracle...our sweet girl is here!

She is finally here!

I love her so much! It doesn't matter how many kids you have....each one is a miracle and is so special. We were so happy that she is here and is healthy!

Matt cuts the umbilical cord!

Words can't begin to explain the feeling you have when you see your baby. She is perfect!

Aidan loves Anabelle so much and was so happy to FINALLY get to hold her!

Aidan and Lily wore their "Big Brother" and "Big Sister" shirts up to the hospital and brought Anabelle some gifts just from them. (Thanks Mom!)

She is so tiny and so beautiful!

Anabelle is getting ready for her hospital photos!

Shortly after I had and they cleaned her up and brought her to me. She has such a perfect little head! So cute!

Gilly's Cupcakes!

I went to Gilly's Cupcake Bar because I had heard about it from some friends at work! Little did I know I would go into labor the next day! matt and I both enjoyed a cupcake after I gave birth to Anabelle! AIdan and Lily loved how the cupcakes looked but I think they were a little "too big". Matt and I had no problem eating their cupcakes for them! It was a great treat after delivery!

SO nice to have a warm Easter!

It was so great to have a warm Easter! The kids hunted eggs and looked adorable!

Aidan and Lily decorate eggs and have a blast!

I am so behind! We had a great Easter and here are the pics. My mom came up and my sister since I couldn't travel! The kids loved Easter egg hunting and their Easter baskets. Aidan received many Buzz Lightyear things and Tinker got many Dora things in her basket. The Easter Bunny left some great things!

37 Weeks and counting....

I am officially 37 weeks and I can't believe I am still pregnant! I was in the hospital this weekend...contracting but Anabelle decided to stay put! Wow...I have spent so much time praying she stays in there that now I can't believe I am actually praying that she makes her entrance into the world. Having contractions all the time is not a fun thing and this weekend at the hospital they did an ultrasound and they think she is 6 lbs. 6 oz. YEAH! I know she will come when she is ready! I need to get on the ball and post all my pics from Easter...that will be on my TD list for tomorrow!

So Proud of Tinker!

Tinker is so proud of her toenails!!!!!!!
I am so amazed by Lily Claire. She had her tonsils out on Wednesday, March 31st. She was pretty uncomfortable and we had to stay overnight (which is standard procedure for someone her age). She ate 2 bowls of soup, a pudding cup, some baked french fries...for lunch and dinner. They said she might not eat anything so I was shocked when she gobbled down the chicken noodle soup. She drank lots of juice and water and just was as sweet as could be. I brought Toy Story along so as soon as we got to our room I put it in. She calmed down immediately. She loves Buzz as much as her brother. We watched movies and slept throughout the day. She did so good. Matt stayed the night with her so I could sleep in a regular bed. It was a good thing because Aidan woke up at Grandma and Grandpa's having trouble breathing and they brought him over at 1 in the morning! The excitement never stops!
The next day she went pee pee on the potty the whole day...she took a nap in her bed...she played....she wanted to go outside...she was just amazing and so happy!

Today, I decided to do something special for her so we went to Walgreens and got some nail polish. Matt went in and bought it! Ever since I got a pedicure for my birthday she has wanted her toenails painted. She was thrilled! It was so cute!
