This is what happened when we got back to Nana and Pa Pa's.....needless to say we were all tired!!!

On Tuesday (June 15th) we headed to Cape to ride on Pa Pa's Choo Choo! Pa Pa managed to get tickets for us all so we have been looking forward to this for some time! We made it to Nana and Pa Pa's around 10! The kids were so excited to see them! It was a hot day and we headed over to Chaffee to board around 12:30. Nana watched Anabelle but they came over to watch us board! The BNSF only does this around every 10 years so we were excited that the kids got to do it! The train ride lasted about 3 1/2 hours. We got caught in a wind delay and had to wait for another train. It was pretty neat. We sat in a passenger car! They brought around drinks and lots of treats for the kids. It was also air-conditioned which was a big plus. Pa Pa bought each grandchild something special from the gift shop that was on the train! All in all...it was a fun day that I hope they remember!
