{A Big Surprise}
Matt surprised Aidan and took the day off. My 2 favorite guys headed to the golf course. They had so much fun and got to spend some quality time together.
~Arch~
The arch has made it way on our summer fun list a few times. Last year there was so much construction and a detour that we decided to wait to go. This year we were determined to go. The kids were pretty excited and really didn't know what to expect. They were troopers as we parked kinda far away and had to do some walking (it was Anabelle that I worried about:). It was a super fun day! They loved going up in the arch, They learned some fun facts and I know they will always remember it! This is what summer is all about....making memories!
Indian Creek
Indian Creek is a little treasure about 20 minutes from our house. It is pretty neat. This was one of the things to do on our Summer Fun list. We were there all day. The kids had a blast. The only bad things is I got hit on the way home by a truck. My brand new car has a brand new dent! UGH! However, we were all wearing our seat belts and are safe and sound!
Baseball Season 2015
Well, this Steinmetz family loves baseball. This season has been quite crazy with all the rain. We have had rain out after rain out. But, this season brought some highlights to remember.
1. Anabelle Devaney stopped using a the T. By the end of the season the coach was pitching to her and she was getting some big hits. (She is so darn tiny up there when she is batting. She also was soo proud of herself and demanded my full attention every at bat.)
2. Lily- She has had so many rain outs and unfortunately has had to miss a few games due to vacation. However, she did hit a homerun. Yes, she is 7 and hit a legitimate home run. It was awesome!
3. Aidan- He has nailed it this season. He has made some awesome plays ans has gotten some amazing hits too. He hit a home run too.....he hit it out to center field and as he was rounding the bases- the umpire called it because he hit in several runs which made us get 7. 7 runs is the most you can have in one inning but for all purposes he would have had a home run so we count it in our book!!!!
{BIG DAY}
Anabelle graduated from Pre-K!!!! It was a very special day! We were so proud of our sweet girl!!!
I don't know if she was excited or a bit nervous but she kept her hands folded the entire time. She looked adorable. The class put on a little performance and then we all went out to eat. (Nana, Pop, Grandma, Grandpa, and our family)
