Trunk or Treat

 We did Trunk-or-Treat at St. Joe's this year! It was our first trunk or treating experience and I will say...WE LOVED IT!  We had pizza, the kids went from car to car, they had a blast-it was so much fun! Now, my kids love Halloween! I mean love it! They love to go trick-or-treating and this was perfect!  It was perfect practice for Halloween!  Anabelle was beside herself because she got so much "dum" (that is gum).
Aidan and Lily walked out with a bag full of candy!  Whoever invented this was pretty smart. I mean it is so simple but yet so fun!

Apple Picking~ October 2013

Having a family tradition that just gets better year and year........PRICELESS!

Every October we go apple picking at EcKert's! This year the pumpkins just looked so inviting we couldn't pass up the opportunity and did both! The kids love apple picking! They each fill a bag and usually enjoy some sweet bites themselves!  This year it was so cute to watch them go out into the pumpkin patch and pick their own pumpkins. Anabelle wanted a "little one".  Lily wanted a "pretty one" and Aidan wanted a "huge one"! It was too cute!  A great day was had by all!

A little date....

The girls were gone a while back and my buddy and I decided to go on a little date. We went to a bakery that opened in Downtown Cottleville. We drive by it every day and it is looks so neat!  So, Aidan and I went for breakfast one morning. Aidan thought it was very "fancy" inside!  He was the perfect date!

Fall Soccer

 Lily finished playing soccer in October.  Aidan just finished this past weekend! The kids had a blast and it was a great season had by all!
