~Field Trip~

This week I was able to go on a field trip with Aidan. We went to the Delta Dental Theater and then to eat at the Old Spaghetti Factory downtown! Aidan was thrilled that I could take the day of work and come spend the day with him. We then went out to eat that night and I took him to PSR. Later that night we were in bed and Aidan said, "Mom-we spent the whole day together-just me and you!  I had a good day!" I was sooo glad that I went (even though this has been a busy week with the move).

Oh yes-that is Peyton-Aidan's "girlfriend". (Those are Aidan's words and not mine.)  She sat with us on the bus!

OH MY....

The kids looked absolutely adorable on Easter. They all matched and we wore purple this year. CAN YOU SAY C-U-T-E!!!!

Easter 2013

We went home on Easter weekend and went to a really cool Easter egg hunt! It was huge and not crowded. The kids had an egg hunt which was broken up into age groups. That made it great because Anabelle Devaney really loved finding eggs this year. Then we headed inside to decorate cookies and have snacks! The kids had a blast and we all marked it on our calendars for next year!!!!

We has some fun dyeing Easter Eggs one rainy afternoon! The kids get the biggest kick out of dyeing eggs!

~PROUD PARENTS~

Lily was nominated for the "Kiwanis Terrific Kid" for the month of February! We got an email telling us that it was a surprise and that we should come to the all school assembly so after her name was called she would look out in to the crowd and see us. She was DARLING! We were some proud parents on that day! Lily was sooo excited when she finally noticed us in the crowd! What a great day!

SNOW DAY on March 25

The day the kids were supposed to go back to school after Spring Break we all had a snow day! Aidan and Lily enjoyed playing outside with the neighbor. We let them go sledding down a nearby hill.  Anabelle walked around and played in it a bit. They were like frozen ice cubes. They hopped in the tub and were bright red from the cold!

St. Patrick's Day Run

We ran a 5 mile race this St. Patty's day! I have to be honest-I was sort of dreading it because most people actually train.  Well, between work and working on the new house and the kids that was just not in the cards for this runner.  Matt and I have talked about it and it was something we always wanted to do together! WE FINISHED! It was cold and long--- but I did it! I finished in a little over an hour. I think Matt was proud of me-he stayed with me and while I was panting away he looked like he was barely breaking a sweat! We celebrated with some drinks afterwards!

~Cousins~

We have made quite a few trips home since we didn't have a house and spent a lot of time with our cousins!

Chuckie Cheese

Since we have been living with Matt's parents we decided to scale back Aidan's birthday party. We just had family and a few friends to celebrate at Chuckie Cheese. He had a blast with his friend Caleb. Ski ball was the big hit of the day! The boys stayed over there most of the time!  There was a fun time had by all!

SNOW DAY!

The kids definitely got some use out of their snow boots this Winter. Anabelle especially likes to walk in the snow and eat it!
